Diggs Revol Crate Review

I had no idea what kind of crate to purchase when I adopted Sophie.  It was all very confusing.

Did I want to buy a cheaper crate that was smaller for a puppy and purchase a bigger one when she got older?

If I bought a big crate when she was little, would she be overwhelmed in the big space?

I did a lot of looking and research.

Then I found the Diggs Revol Crate.  This crate is awesome.  Sophie sleeps in it every night and is very comfortable.

Why I love this product:

  • Collapsible with wheels, so it can be moved from room to room.

  • Sets up quickly and can be raised and lowered with one hand.

  • Comes with a removable tray that can be easily removed and cleaned.

  • The front latch is smooth inside the crate so your dog can’t open it from the inside.

  • Multiple door entries. Two hatch style doors at the top so you can reach in if necessary to get to your pup.  A garage door on the side can be left open during the day so your pup has easy access.  Front entry door with an easy open firm latch.

  • Cosmetically appealing for any room.

  • The diamond-shaped mesh pattern and single-piece frame keeps your pup safe.

  • Made with high quality materials that will not rust.

  • Can be accessorized to add more comfort for your pup.

  • Includes a puppy divider and two ceiling hatches making crate training easier.

  • One crate from puppy to adult dog.

  • Travel friendly.

  • Collapsible with wheels and a side handle for easy transportation.

  • Comes in 4 sizes.

Things to think about:

  • May be cost prohibited. At the time of publishing this review,  small crates start at $375. Larger crates are $675.  If you sign up the Diggs email list, they will send discount offers that bring the cost down.

  • The installation of the large crate was more difficult than expected.

  • Can not use side door while using puppy divider.

  • There is a restocking fee if returned.

  • Accessories are extra.

  • Larger crates are heavy/bulky and may not be ideal for travel. This is the one I purchased, and I would not travel with it.  Diggs does have an Inflatable travel kennel available for purchase.

Online Reviews From Diggs Site:

  • The negative reviews for this product are mostly regarding cracks in the removable tray.  I’ve had my Diggs Revol Crate for over a year and have not experienced any issues.  Sophie is now weighs 70lbs and sleeps in it every night.

  • Customer Service/shipping length were also mentioned in the negative reviews. I have personally not dealt with customer service at Diggs.  My crate arrived within 7 days with no issues.  I was emailed updates during that time.  The reviews I read regarding shipping issues were mostly during the pandemic.
